What Wetin Dey will and will not do
Wetin Dey will:
- Remove from public view within 24 hours any content that is a threat, is doxxing, is hate speech, names a minor, is illegal under Nigerian law, or is confirmed defamation.
- Label a report Disputed if the claim is contested but does not violate our content rules.
- Publish your verified rebuttal alongside the report.
- Permanently ban a session from posting after repeated violations.
Wetin Dey will not:
- Delete a report solely because its subject disputes it, as long as it does not violate our content rules. Reports are preserved in our records for archive and legal-defense purposes. This is a deliberate policy that protects the integrity of the public archive.
- Remove criticism of a public agency or of a public official acting in their official capacity.
Urgent cases
For threats of violence, doxxing of a minor, or content that creates an immediate safety risk, email support@wetindey.app with subject “URGENT” and we will prioritize review.
